Review of my experience hibiscus spa in bedstuy: Mediocre experience at Massage Spa on Halsey

Now i am all for supporting black business; which is part of the reason i embarked on and supported this massage spa on Halsey;  However my experience there was...how do i put this "NOT FRESH". The spa is in a brownstone on two floors and I dug that. I was greeted with some tea, but was also greeted by cold; frigid air...

Secondly they didn't ask me what gender of a  masseuse i preferred...so low and behold this wild looking guy shows up that looks like he's fresh out of Rikers...Upstate...YIKES! I was trying to play it cool but he looked like a creepster. Now...turns out that once i was in my towel (With a tube top and shorts underneath) he was actually a okay...he did have a soothing voice like Maxwell so it was all good/kind of...but i still thought it was wack...because i was from the top feeling uncomfortable in a place where I am supposed to be relaxed.

The main issue was that the room was a damn refrigerator and i paid too much money for that room to be cold. I may as well have gotten the hot stones. He did a Mediocre job.

At the end of the day I would recommend ladies if you are getting a massage that you always ask the gender of the masseuse that you want and also ask for specifics like room temperature, a preheated room etc.

Also if you decide you want to take a chance at this spot ...go for the thirty minute massage.

Until next time Peace!!

How can you tell a Chicago Artist?

There is one thing that identifies a Chicago Artist- blues, blues from the pit of the heart and soul
